Foundation Board of Directors – Call for Community Leaders

Two (2) Volunteer Positions

We are seeking two committed, community-minded leaders to join our Foundation Board of Directors. This governance-focused board provides strategic oversight, philanthropic leadership, and accountability for an upcoming multi-year capital campaign directly related to affordable housing.

This is a meaningful opportunity to help shape the future of essential social services in our community and contribute to the development of 5–6 new affordable apartments, along with community and office space, in the heart of downtown Grimsby.

We welcome individuals who bring:

• A passion for social impact and community wellbeing
• Strong community networks and relationship-building skills
• Strategic thinking and sound judgment
• A willingness to actively support fundraising efforts

Experience in any of the following is considered a strong asset:

• Fundraising or philanthropy
• Corporate leadership or partnerships
• Finance, law, construction, real estate, or marketing
• Capital campaigns or capital projects
• Government or community relations
• Lived Experience in Developmental Services

Time Commitment

• Term: 3 years, renewable
• Meetings: At least bi-annually
• Participation in key campaign-related events and donor engagements
