Architectural Cladding Estimator

Rapidly Growing Cladding Manufacturer is looking for an architectural cladding/facade estimator with AutoCAD and Revit experience to do estimates for commercial, institutional, and high-rise building structures. - A university degree or college diploma in architecture, architectural technology or related field
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience as an architectural estimator
- A minimum of 2 years of working knowledge and construction experience in façade/cladding design
- 5 years of construction industry experience, including building envelope knowledge
- A minimum of 2 years of design experience with multi-residential and/or commercial buildings
- Must be able to use 2D/3D AutoCAD software and Revit software
- Experience with Revit/BIM360 integration
- Must know building codes
- Experience with Rhino 3D, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign Software is an asset
- Competency in Microsoft office
- Exceptional communication skills, organization skills, and work ethic
- Professional demeanour and appearance

- Review architectural drawings and project specifications to determine project scope
- Prepare construction drawings of varying complexity on high-rise multi-residential, commercial and institutional projects
- Prepare estimates of cladding requirements for new construction and retrofit projects
- Draft 2D and 3D basic building systems and mark-up drawings.
- System connecting details
- Revisions and edits of designs
- Communications with clients for approvals

- We offer a salary of $65,000-$80,000/year based on experience, plus a discretionary bonus based on performance.
